Overview

Love SCANASYST-AIR-HPI probes but wish you didn’t have to handle them with tweezers? Then SAA-HPI-MT are for you!

The pre-mounted ScanAsyst-Air-HPI from Bruker isn’t just a high-performance probe—it’s a game changer in usability. Designed for PeakForce Tapping enabled Dimension AFM platforms such as Icon, Edge, and Nexus, it delivers the same exceptional resolution and low-force imaging capabilities as the standard unmounted probe, but now with a major convenience upgrade.

With this pre-mounted probe, no more handling a delicate silicon chip with tweezers. No more worrying about dropping the tip during installation. Just pickup with finger and thumb, plug it in to scanner pins, and go. It’s ideal for busy labs, new users, or anyone who wants to streamline their workflow when doing a lot of standard topo imaging in air.

You still get the ultra-sharp tip for resolving fine surface features, and the paddle-shaped cantilever with aluminum coating ensuring optimal laser reflectivity and minimal optical interference. With a nominal spring constant of 0.25 N/m, it’s perfect for imaging both hard and soft materials all while preserving tip sharpness and sample integrity.

And because it’s optimized for Bruker’s PeakForce Tapping and works with our ScanAsyst and ScanAsyst Plus image optimizing algorithms, you’ll get consistent, high-resolution results with minimal setup time. Ready to make your AFM imaging faster, safer, and more reliable.

If you're looking for a probe that combines precision with plug-and-play simplicity, try the new pre-mounted SAA-HPI-MT.
